Woodlice, Pill bugs, Isopods, OH MY!
Why is there a rainbow roly poly in my logo you might ask?
Short answer: unfinished basement as a studio.
Long answer: Because even a simple crustacean has the heart of an artist! And like the stereotype of the destructive creative, I had some adventurous roly-polies cannonball into my paint pours this winter.
I kinda feel bad for the little guys, so I’ve since stapled up some heavy plastic to keep them from falling into more drying work. I appreciate their dedication to their art, but it’s a little too free form for me.
Mysticism, art, creativity is often nonsensical to many. I rather call it silly, fun, joyful! Kinda like a rainbow pill bug is!
